Congratulations to AND’s Rita Ryan on being awarded Cook County’s 11th District Unsung Heroine Award. Ryan received the award at a breakfast on March 3, 2016, in recognition of her 30 years of service to victims of domestic violence.
“Rita Ryan is the heart and soul of our agency. Her amazing work with victims of domestic violence is what makes our agency able to serve our community so well,” said AND Board President Jessica McCarihan.
Ryan received the award from the County Commision on Women’s Issues, which includes Ginger Rugai, as well as Cook County Commissioner John Daley.
